Envirocare ‘make the cut’ at the National Franchise Exhibition

Monday, October 18th, 2010
The success of Envirocare’s Grounds Maintenance Company was available for all to see at the National Franchise Exhibition at the beginning of October.
With the team on hand to fill in the details, dozens of potential franchisees picked up brochures and perused the stand giving thoughtful consideration to a future in grounds maintenance.  “The feed back has been fantastic,” reported MD, Dave Yates “the interest in our franchise opportunity was quite over whelming.  We went to the exhibition on a bit of a high as we had already reached our franchise target for this year but the show has brought in a good number of new enquiries, with several visits to our head office already arranged.”
Franchise manager Paul Shipley was also pleased with the results “you realise there’s a lot out there in terms of franchise opportunities, exhibiting at the NEC proved Envirocare is up there with the big players.  Our franchise model and on going support is an attractive proposition to anyone considering a franchise, the set up package and the financial terms can’t be beaten.  We met some great people at the show, we’ll definitely be back next year.”
Director, Phil Harrington joined the team on Saturday and soon got stuck in.  “I really enjoyed the day.  After decades in the business we have a lot to offer and franchising has been the obvious way for us to expand.  The positive experience of the exhibition cements that decision, we have a committed team with the all the skills needed to make this work and the results so far speak for themselves.”

Envirocare ladies bring the feminine touch to the show

Monday, October 18th, 2010

The National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham proved to be a real team effort for Envirocare Maintenance Solutions.

The show, Envirocare’s first at the NEC, was well attended by prospective franchisees and Janine, Lindsay and Angie certainly did their bit to promote the company’s exciting franchise opportunity.  “We had a really great weekend,” said Business Development manager Lindsay Roxburgh, “we spoke to lots of interesting people, their reasons for considering a franchise varied – redundancy, business investment opportunities, a change of direction…but all really impressed with Envirocare’s franchise model”.

Financial Controller Janine Yates saw a different side to this year’s show.  “We came down to the exhibition last year when we were first considering franchising, just for a look at what it was all about, it’s quite amazing how far we’ve come in just 12 months.  Talking to people about the business just reaffirms the success of our years of hard work; we truly have something good to offer.  Although we’ve expanded considerably, we pride ourselves in holding onto the family ethos – everyone matters at Envirocare.”

The Envirocare display stand was ready just days before the show and certainly looked the part, particularly attracting those interested in a career working outdoors.  “The stand really did the trick” commented Angie Grime, Administration Manager “thanks to Unique Exhibitions and the commitment of the team, our Envirocare presentation was attractive and professional, although next year I think we’ll take chairs – two days on your feet and non stop talking is very tiring!”

Great Northern Franchise Show at Newcastle Race Course

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

David Yates, Managing Director of Envirocare has confirmed he and his Team will be attending this Regional Franchise Show. Commenting on this announcement David said “We have established our operations in the North East over the past 3 years and now have a significant customer base in this region, stretching from Noth Yorkshire to the Scottish Borders. Through this event and the enquiries we have already received from prospective Franchisees I’m confident we will have appointed Franchisee to cover the majority of the postcodes in the North East within the next few months. This will allow us to transfer the servicing of our existing customers in the North East to our Franchisees and undertake further marketing activity to further develop our business in the North East.”

David and his Team are looking forward to welcoming guests to the Franchise Show but will not be taking any bets no matter how tempting. There has been a lot of banter in the Envirocare Team about horses in the build up to the Grand National next week – but nobody on David’s team studies the form – well not of the horses!

More information to follow about this Franchise Show so please keep reading the Blog.

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

Paul Shipley, Franchise Manager of Envirocare has announced Envirocare will offer to it’s first 10 Franchisees exclusive terms including a reduced initial Franchise Fee of £34,400 + VAT (representing a discount of 20%) and access to funding that would require Franchsees to pay an initial deposit of £10,000 and payment of the balance, without application of interest, over a period of 36 months to Envirocare, thus removing the need to obtain funding from a bank. Commenting on this announcement Paul Shipley said the terms we’re being offered to help establish the Franchise Network in response to need of the business to deliver it’s services to a rapidly expanding client base across the UK.

He added future Franchisees would not be offered these terms and if funding was required would need to approach the Banks with whom he emphasised Envirocare have good working relationships reflected in their willingness to lend up to 70% of the initial cost of the franchise and working capital.

David Yates MD of Envirocare Comments on Launch of Envirocare Franchise Network

Monday, April 5th, 2010

We have worked towards offering Franchises since the business was launched in 2005. Following the successful completion of an 18 month trial of our Franchise offering, we are now confident to proceed. Although economic conditions remain challenging we believe the performance of small businesses will help re-build the economy. We consider this is an ideal time to start a business and Franchising has a proven track record of business success.

I’d encourage anybody who is interested in our Franchise offering to attend one of our regular Discovery Days – the next one is being held on Saturday 20th March – places are still available and can be reserved by calling us on 0800 028 3329.
