Lindsay ‘checks in’ with Envirocare

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Summer 2010 has seen big changes in the Roxburgh household as mum Lindsay ‘packed up’ her travel business and ‘checked in’ with Envirocare as their new Business Development Manager.  Lindsay, who has run her own successful travel company for 9 years, decided to make the move when she became aware of Envirocare’s franchise expansion.  “The opportunity was too good to miss.” said Lindsay “I made sure my own staff had secured their futures before making the break and since the middle of August, I haven’t looked back.  I’ve been warmly welcomed by the team, there’s a real buzz at head office especially around the success of the franchise roll out.”  As a busy mum of twins Ella and Oliver aged just 12 months, Lindsay has to be organized “I’m naturally a busy person with plenty of energy, my husband says the twins get tired just looking at me!  I have good support from family and I’ve already found out that Envirocare are a real family orientated business” Lindsay has wasted no time getting started.  She’s been out on the road meeting new franchisees up and down the country and will be part of the team attending the franchise exhibition in Birmingham at the beginning of October.  “I’m really looking forward to the show” added Lindsay “but at the moment I’m concentrating on our first franchisee training and development days later this month”

Envirocare Heads for Birmingham

On October 1st and 2nd Birmingham NEC will host The National Franchise Exhibition, this is the only franchise exhibition in Birmingham to be supported by the British Franchise Association (bfa) and only allows franchise companies that have met the Association’s code of ethics to exhibit at the event. This means visitors can be confident in the franchise opportunities presented, as they are an ethical entity within the UK market.

Dave, Envirocare MD will be taking the Sales and Marketing team down to Birmingham for the two day show and is excited at the prospect of meeting potential franchisees.  “Interest in our franchise has been remarkable, but it’s no surprise as we have such a lot to offer.  The NEC exhibition gives us the chance to present first hand our business opportunity and get to know the kind of people who are looking to transform their lives and careers by becoming their own boss.”

If you are interested in an Envirocare franchise opportunity or would like a free ticket to The National Franchise Exhibition give the team a call on 0800 0283329.

Envirocare cleans up at Leeds Festival

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Unlike those attending its sister festival in Reading, this year’s Leeds festival goers enjoyed a weekend of sunshine at the annual live music event.  Thousands packed into the venue at Braham Park and were entertained for three days by an impressive lineup of bands and solo artists both old and new.  But who cleans up after the revelers?  Envirocare Maintenance Solutions came up trumps when they bid for the massive tidy up on the August Bank Holiday weekend.  Dave, Envirocare MD said “the cleanup is quite a feat.  The equipment arrives on site the day before and cleaning is carried out from midnight each night.  Festival goers are guaranteed a litter free start to the day.”  Brian, one Envirocare employee decided to make the most of his free entry to the festival.  Brian reported back “it was a fantastic weekend; I worked all night, rested during the day and danced with the best of them until it was time to get back on my tractor.”  Brian took a couple of photos of his tractor parked up by the Main and Alternative stages, looks like he did an excellent job!

Phil and Rebecca rise to the challenge

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

During September 2009 Phil Harrington, Envirocare Director and his step daughter Rebecca Halsall completed the grueling 510 miles Tower 2 Tower challenge supporting Rock FM’s Cash for Kids charity.  Rebecca, who works as part of the Envirocare sales team during her summer vacation from university, accompanied Phil and around 40 other cyclists to the Eifel Tower to begin the six day return journey to Blackpool.  “It was hard going” said Rebecca, “but worth it.  There was a great atmosphere amongst the cyclists but we were all relieved it was over by the time we reached Blackpool.”  The event raised around £56,000 for the Cash for Kids charity, Phil and Rebecca managed an impressive £3000 between them.  Rebecca added “we’ve just completed the Manchester to Blackpool charity bike ride, needless to say it was a doddle compared to the Tower 2 Tower challenge!”
