Monday, November 21st, 2011
On Friday it was that time of year again (doesn’t it come around so quickly?!) when we held our “End of Year Office Party”

Every year our Directors Jan & Dave Yates, ensure we all have a wonderful time after another very busy year.  None deserve this more that our operatives who work outdoors in all weathers and take this in their stride daily.

You may have read on an earlier blog “Envirocare book their ‘hoe’ down”  on where it was going to be held this year and what a wonderful venue it was.

So beautiful in fact that our IT Support, Ryan Kilner better watch himself and his girlfriend suggested this is where she would want to get married…watch this space for an update on how that progresses!

Toolbox Talks

Toolbox Talks – Continual training is essential for the reduction of accident/incident rates and the occurrence of ill health and environmental damage in our workplaces. Toolbox Talks play a major part in our continuing effort to create an increased awareness of hazards present in our workplaces and the precautions which must be taken to eliminate or control them.  Our regular toolbox talks keep the Envirocare team up to date with good health and safety practice while our ‘team briefs’ make sure everyone is up to speed with company changes and developments.

6.  Either, what would you change in the past, or what would you make happen in the future?

I can answer both….

In the past: I would have stayed single and so would own my house by now!

I would make happen: Win the lottery with just enough to be life changing but not frightening!  To be able to have a house in the country, with lots of space, a garden, a potting shed and a large kitchen.

Strangely enough, a lottery win is a very popular answer for number 6!  Cannot imagine why!

Right Noel, it’s your turn – let us “Get to know you”….

Noel Keane, Marketing Manager

Paper boy aged 12 years

2.  What is your earliest memory and how old were you?

Falling off a moving bus aged 3 years – in those days, it was the buses with the open corner at the back with a conductor and a pole!  Most of the time you had to quickly jump on it while it was still moving to be able to catch it!

3.  What is your favourite CD at the moment?

The Howlin Wolf Story

4.  Favourite 3 course meal?

Starter: Pate and Light Toast

Main: Ribeye Steak with chips (veg if necessary!) or Beef Cobbler

Dessert: Apple Crumble and custard

5.  What is your superstar name? (The name of your first pet and your mothers maiden name)

Rocky Hull

6.  Either, what would you change in the past, or what would you make happen in the future?

I would find a way to lose weight without dieting or exercise!

Thank you so much for your time again!

Be sure to check in again next Thursday for another 2 unsuspecting team members!

Also, check out our Monday blog – with lots of different business information and news and sometimes just a feel good story that we want to share!
