January always feels like the longest (and coldest) month of the year. We all suffer from the hangover of a long break over Christmas and New Year, and the weather is always poor.
Now we have reached the end of the first month of the year, we are getting closer to the start of Spring and the start of the grass cutting season. With the weather still not great at present, it is still advisable not to mow any grassy areas for the time being, to avoid any unnecessary damage to the roots.
In the aftermath of the festive season, we assisted with the removal and recycling of trees, helping the Rainbow Hub service raise money for charities supporting children and young people with physical and neurological disabilities. See https://www.lep.co.uk/your-world/tree-mendous-start-to-2026-as-rainbow-hub-smashes-their-target-and-recycles-over-1050-trees-5486432 for more info on the project.
We are currently in the middle of planting season, which runs from November to March. Bulbs, plants, trees, and flowers are continuing to be planted on sites up and down the country.
We will also continue to offer gritting and snow clearance services in February dependent on the weather, if required and we can arrange for services to be completed as quickly as possible, which is all dependent on the weather we have in the coming month.
If you wish to enquire about any of our services, from grounds maintenance to our winter initiative package, please get in touch with us today and we will be happy to provide you with a quote. We pride ourselves on providing a first-class service from start to finish, you won’t be disappointed when you choose Envirocare!
