Charity Walk **

May 13, 2014

Envirocare gave a very generous donation of £150 to Paul Grime – our Health and Safety Co-ordinators, Angie Grime, husband, who completed the Keswick to Barrow 40 mile walk on Saturday 10th May.

It was the 48th year the event had taken place, walkers started at 5.30am from Keswick, Paul completed the course reaching the finish line in Barrow in 12 hours. More than 6000 people took part in the event which raises cash for good causes across Cumbria.

Paul and his team, the Restart Ramblers have chosen to donate a percentage of their sponsor money to the K2B event with the remainder going to Skelmersdale Women’s Refuge.

Well done Paul as we believe your feet have suffered due to the horrible weather conditions you had to walk in!!
