David Yates, Managing Director of Envirocare Grounds Maintenance and his team were delighted to welcome guests to their first Discovery Day at their premises in Leyland on Saturday 20th March. Guests were given a guided tour of the offices for about one hour during which David’s team members explained details of the activity undertaken in their teams and answered a number of questions. The feedback from guests was particularly positive and many of them said that it had helped bring alive the information already provided to them. In particular guests were very impressed with the mapping software used to both target marketing campaigns and for business planning.
Although raining David’s team also gave all the guests a tour of the Envirocare site and allowed those who asked to drive some of the tractors and other grass cutting machines. A buffet was available for all the guests and David reported he had few sandwiches left at the end of the day – although he’s concluded the reason why all the sausages had been eaten very early in the day was because a guest had fed these to his dog, Meg. David was pleased with the event and has as a result received several enquiries from potential Franchisees.
All at Envirocare are looking forward to future Discovery Days and especially Meg the dog. Watch this blog for announcements on future dates of Discovery Days but be prepared to bring your own sausages!
