It’s been a rather warm and wet February, with record temperatures in some areas of the UK seen for this time of year.
We are coming towards the final few weeks of planting season, which runs from November to March. Plants, trees and flowers are continuing to be planted on sites up and down the country by our teams, so that in a few months’ time, our sites will be looking the best they can.
The recent weather has been perfect for grass growth, with the grass cutting season creeping up on us, fast. However, it is still advisable not to mow any grassy areas for the time being to avoid any unnecessary damage to the roots, at least for a little while longer yet, as frost could be just around the corner.
We have been preparing for grass cutting season with lots of planning, making sure our equipment is spotless and our mowers are ready to go when the weather takes a positive turn.
We also have a new fleet of vans on the way with a new design to further enhance our efficiency, so be on the look out for these in your area.
