Last Saturday Rob Holding of Envirocare Preston completed a 23 mile charity walk in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation. The route took the walkers from Bamber Bridge to Blackpool Tower, Rob was amongst a group of around a dozen friends who had chosen to support the Make a Wish Foundation fund raising event. The charity is close to Rob’s heart after the death of his friends daughter who had been given the chance to make a wish come true through the foundation. Rob and his party completed the walk in 10 hours this included a couple of pub stops along the way – but only for an orange juice! Friends and colleagues at Envirocare sponsored Rob to complete his challenge and happily handed over the cash when they heard of Rob’s success.
