The mood is upbeat at Envirocare head office in Leyland, last week’s visit from Steve Scott, ISO assessor resulted in Envirocare’s recommendation for all three certificates – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and this week our Constructionline registration has been confirmed.
“As the company moves forward and we tender for work both locally and nationally, our certifications, memberships and accreditations make the pre-qualifying and tender processes much more straightforward” commented MD Dave Yates. “Our qualification for Constructionline as well as Safe Contractor, RoSPA and CHAS give a clear message to our current and future clients – our standards are high. Our management systems ensure close monitoring and measuring of our services, this combined with customer consultation, gives us a sound basis for continued improvement”
Constructionline registration certifies that Envirocare has met the pre-qualification requirements appropriate to public and private sector procurement. Applications are vetted by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills who manage the register for both suppliers and buyers. The questionnaire demands detailed and comprehensive information relating to the activities of the company in the areas of health and safety, equality and diversity, environmental management, employee training and development, qualifications, experience , quality and performance.
Dave added “Our application to Contractor Plus is due to be submitted, this registration process rigorously tests a company’s health and safety standards, I’m confident we’ll meet the criteria.”
