Fabulous news from our customer at Little Eccleston Parish as they won the RHS North West Best Village plus Gold Award. They thanked Envirocare’s team for their contribution. If this wasn’t enough for the village they also walked away with Lancashire Best Kept Hamlet award too!
The Best Kept Village Competition, focuses on the hundreds of rural, semi-rural and industrial villages that give Lancashire its sense of history and time; villagers encouraged to take pride in the location and surroundings, to care for and take care of these many residential jewels, and to put their villages forward across many categories in this popular and inclusive annual competition.

Large Village Class: Sabden
Medium Village Class: Town Green
Small Village Class: Grindleton
Hamlet Class: Little Eccleston
‘Envirocare Maintenance Solutions Ltd’ has provided services as our ‘Open Spaces’ contractor since 2019.
Throughout this time, they have proved to be efficient, reliable and have carried out their duties to a high standard.
‘Little Eccleston with Larbreck (LEwL) Parish Council’ won both the ‘Lancashire Best Kept Village’ (Hamlet) and the ‘Northwest in Bloom’ (Small Village) awards in 2023 and ‘Envirocare’ are duly entitled to share in this success.
‘LEwL Parish Council’ would have no hesitation in recommending ‘Envirocare’ to other Parish Councils and similar organisations – who are looking for a contractor for their grounds maintenance areas.
