John Merton and Dave Williams’ continued efforts to recycle have once again paid off. The pair have raised £250 for the local learning disability charity, The Walton Lea Project. John and Dave are no strangers to the project as this is the second time they have chosen to donate to the charity. “The project is a really good cause” said John “We have visited the staff and service users to see firsthand the support provided. We were really pleased to receive a thank you letter from Kathryn Jones, Project Co-ordinator and are grateful to the Alban retailers for their co-operation and support of our recycling.”
John and Dave were featured in the Envirocare Winter Newsletters which went out to staff, customers and franchisees. “We used the Newsletters as an opportunity to encourage all those connected with Envirocare to recycle where ever possible and to forward their ideas on to us” reported Dave” We have taken the initiative here at Head Office and this year we have invested in a waste card and paper recycle bin provided by Neales Waste Carriers. All the offices have their own recycle point; it has been well received by staff”
If you have any recycling ideas forward them on to angie@envirocarems.co.uk
